We would like to give an overview on how they work, outline technological pro and cons, describe new functionalities and highlight how they go beyond the traditional lighting manufacturer approach. In addition many new personalized controls come to market in connection with the SmartHome. Lighting Controls are now accessible, affordable for everyone and not just for the high-end market. We like to give an overview over the current emerging systems and how they differ from legacy systems.
