As Vice President of Specification Sales at USAI Lighting, Ann Schiffers strives to push for lighting solutions for modern day challenges. Before joining USAI Lighting in 2010, Ms. Schiffers maintained her own lighting design practice for more than a decade. Her passion for lighting began during her undergraduate level work at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, which prompted her to pursue graduate studies at Parsons School of Design where she obtained a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Architectural Lighting Design. . Ms. Schiffers has also spent more than 15 years teaching, at both the Masters and undergraduate level at Parsons School of Design and New York School of Interior Design, and has lectured at Fashion Institute of Technology, School of Visual Arts, the Jacob Javits Center, Lightfair, and various other industry conferences and lecture series.
