Lee discovered architectural lighting design during her studies at Penn State University and obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's of Architectural Engineering. She has been with HLB Lighting Design since 2000 and is now a Principal at the firm. Lee leads the Energy Standards and LEED team within HLB's Daylighting and Sustainable Design Studio and serves on USGBC and IALD committees related to light poluitions, sustainable design, and energy codes. She served on the NYC Energy Conservation Code Advisory Committee for this most recent energy code adoption. Lee is also a practice leader in the design of hospitality projects and works on many other commercial building types as well. In her principal duties, she runs the NY office studios and lead the team work and talent areas firm wide.
